As we get ready for SharePoint Conference 2009 I am starting a new series called “SharePoint Street Talk” where I sit down and talk SharePoint with someone who spends the better part of their day working with the product.

In this first installment I sat down with Shane Young of SharePoint911.com fame. Shane is a SharePoint MVP and spends the better part of most days fixing good SharePoint farms gone bad. Well Shane recently visited us at Rackspace to talk SharePoint System Administration. Sit back and enjoy a little classic Shane and check back soon for more interviews.

I’ve got some other videos on my site at Rackspace if you’d like to learn more about getting into SharePoint.

Very Nice, I think I’ll go DCPROMO my box right now!

Good audio and video quality, Jeff. Keep it up. I love the SQL IO mandate for performance, 64bit readiness and DCPromo warning. 3 Very important things to keep in mind for all SharePoint deployments.
