With this migration method, are the stp files automatically upgraded to Sharepoint 2010?
I've read that template files(stp) from old sharepoint aren't compatible with Sharepoint 2010.

Hello Sir!
I wasn't clear about something. Did you detach the sharepoint 2007 database content or the 2010 one?

I'd make sure that the search account has the rights that it needs. Also - when all else fails - rebuild the search service.

Hi,

Leaving this message with a expectation I will get a response.
This has the reference to Migration to 2010 from MOSS.

I was rewriting the new 2010 server to exisiting production url.
Exanple: The name of our production is now http://SPIntranet.

Our new 2010 server farm and url is http://SP2010. I rewrote the url (using Alternative access mapping)to http://SPIntranet.

Everything was fine. But my search is breaking. I am getting following message. I need help!!!!!

Internal server error exception:

Troubleshoot issues with Microsoft SharePoint Foundation.
