I’ve pointed out in several WEB-Casts how much I like the feature of being able to customize a SharePoint 2010 Theme right in the browser. If you’re not familiar with the feature, here is a screen-shot:
Now I made the assumption this was a feature that could be found throughout all of SharePoint (SharePoint Server and SharePoint Foundation). Last week I received a ticket from a customer wondering where that feature was on their server… their SharePoint Foundation Server.
Notice something missing? Yeah – it’s the Customize Theme section.
Now the customer still have the option to create THMX file with Office 2010 and there several resources out there to do that (see note below) – but what they wanted was to make these changes in the browser.
