I went back to review one of our SharePoint customers recently and was very impressed with the work they had done on re-skinning SharePoint. The site is the consume site for Staples in Canada (easy.staples.ca). I worked with the developer who was working out of the UK when we stood the server up but hadn’t been back to visit in several months. I was pleasantly surprised when I went over there today to have a look. Now, from what I can tell, there isn’t a lot of ecommerce or custom code at work on the site. But you will find is a classy treatment to SharePoint sites, pages, and navigation. There’s even some nice ajaxy navigation in the quick-launch in some of the sub sites. Just keep an eye on the URL as you navigate around – that will help you decode where you are in their SharePoint hierarchy.
